Monthly Money Horoscopes - July 2020

Aries

While it is business as usual and a fairly quiet point in this financial year this is exactly what you need. There has been no planetary activity in your financial sector, the side of the financial fence that is focused on what you do with and how you manage the money you have since Mars left in the New Year and there will be none until the Sun returns in October. It is the Moon's monthly visits that offer a chance to check in and with your financial instincts and imagination fuelled take care of any housekeeping or seize opportunities. The Moon will begin the month in your financial sector, allowing you to begin with your financial instincts and imagination fuelled from the get go. The Moon will come full circle, returning to your financial sector from 27th July to 29th July, with an opportunity to once again check in. For the majority of the month, the focus is more on the income side of the fence, as it will be for the majority of the year. Unlike your financial sector, where once the faster planets move on there is no ongoing planetary activity, Uranus is in the first full year of a seven year visit to your income sector. Not leaving until 2026, even though the last of the faster moving planets left in May, Uranus is able to keep the momentum going and keep things moving in a lucrative direction. While Uranus can't make direct contact with the planets in your career sector he will benefit from them being there, with the Moon helping to build a bridge. In the lead up to an eclipsing Full Moon in your career sector on 5th July the Moon's friendly aspect to Uranus could make this a trigger for both income and professional potential. Likewise, when the Moon moves through your income sector from 14th July to 16th July, as well as sharpening your nose for money and acting as a trigger, it will form a friendly aspect to all three planets in your career sector. Your income potential will also benefit from new planetary activity on the job front next month.

Taurus

While the Sun will always leave your income sector on the solstice in June it is not unusual to still have Venus or Mercury here as you move into July. While the Sun has a regular schedule that sees him return and leave the same areas of your chart at the same time each year and Venus and Mercury broadly travel with him, they can venture ahead or lag behind. The difference this year is that while the Sun and Mercury have both left Venus is not only still here but will remain in your career sector for the rest of the month. That is despite the fact that the planet of money returned for what should have been a 24 day visit three months ago. It was a six week retrograde phase from 13th May to 25th June that will keep Venus here for just over four months and until leaving on 8th August she will continue to make you a money magnet. In retrograde motion, Venus' focus was on the past, second chances and untapped income potential but it is telling that just a week after her direct turn Saturn will retrograde back out of your career sector, where he has supported her throughout her time here. Saturn will end all planetary activity on the career front until later in the year but along with Juno in your work sector, it will take Venus little to maintain the momentum created across the income, work and career fronts over recent months. Meanwhile, while there is no planetary activity in your financial sector, with the South Node there and its partner the North Node in your income sector they will continue to maintain a balance between money coming in and money going out. This is not something that will be an issue but will be put to the test when the Moon crosses the lunar nodes, which it will do each time it returns to your two money houses. This will happen three times this month. The first will be when the Moon moves through your financial sector from 2nd July to 4th July, then when it moves through your income sector from 16th July to 19th July and for a third time, when it returns to your financial sector from 29th July to 31st July.

Gemini

The solar spotlight is always on your income situation, matters and options at this time of year, due to the fact that the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of July in your income sector. However, despite that and the fact that the Sun will leave on 22nd July, this is not likely to be the most lucrative month of 2020, with August stealing that claim. You are in the most lucrative months of 2020 and have been since Mercury returned to your income sector at the end of May but August was always destined to be the most potentially lucrative. This is partly because of the work that the Sun and Mercury have been able to invest by then but mainly because of Venus. The most lucrative weeks of any year will always be when Venus, the planet of money moves through your income sector. As well as boosting your confidence and fuelling a sense of entitlement, as Venus works through the laws of attraction you are more likely to attract income opportunities and potential when she is here. Held back by a retrograde phase in Gemini Venus won't return to your income sector until 8th August and won't leave until 6th September, making these the most lucrative weeks of 2020. However, this doesn't mean that there isn't potential and opportunities now only that there will be more next month. Mercury, who returned in late May for what should have been a 14 to 15 day chance to use his smart head for money to get your head in the game, is not only still here but is in retrograde motion until 12th July. Mercury was in retrograde motion when the Sun returned last month and during an eclipsing New Moon just hours later, which is why a second New Moon on 21st July and during the Sun's last full day here will be a valuable chance for a do over. Mercury is not the only planet in retrograde motion, with Jupiter and Pluto in retrograde motion in your financial sector and Saturn retrograding back in on 2nd July. On both sides of the financial fence there is a chance to spend time back at the drawing board.

Cancer

It would be nice to believe that Saturn's departure from your financial sector on 2nd July was a case of the hard taskmaster of the cosmos getting out of the way so that income matters could have their turn but he would never be that obliging. If Saturn believed that there was anything to be gained by continuing to not only focus on what you do with and how you manage the money you have but on looking back, he would carry on regardless. Instead, it is more a case of good timing that after just over three months in your financial sector, Saturn will retrograde back out. Normally here for three years instead of three months, this was more a chance to get a feel for things and to look at where you can or need to take your financial power back before he returns with lucky Jupiter in December. There has been almost continuous planetary activity in your financial sector all year, apart from one three day period in January, with the money gods putting all their focus on what you do with and how you manage the money you have and none on money coming in. The fact that Saturn will leave just 20 days before the Sun returns to your income sector on 22nd July is more a case of auspicious timing. This is the start of the most lucrative months of 2020, with Mercury's return next month making August even more lucrative than July and Venus' return in September making it the most lucrative month of 2020. With Venus gone by early October and the focus not shifting back onto financial matters until December, all the planetary activity on the income front this year fits neatly into the space being left for them. What makes this even more auspicious is that you not only have the South Node in your work sector for the first time in 17 years but in the closing days of June Mars began his longest visit to your career sector in 32 years, one that won't run its course until January. The Moon will return to your income sector from 21st July to 23rd July, giving you a sharp nose for money as the Sun returns but also as the best months of 2020 across the income, work and career fronts begin.

Leo

In terms of your financial year as a whole July is a gap month or a month where there is a chance to let financial matters settle before the most lucrative months of 2020 begin, next month. There has been no planetary activity in your income sector since the Sun left in August 2019 with his and Mercury's return next month kicking off the first planetary activity here for the year. This makes the Moon's return from 23rd July to 25th July and a valuable chance to check in and not just when it comes to income matters. As well as sharpening your nose for money and acting as a trigger, this will create positive conditions across the income, work and career fronts. The Moon might only be here for a few days and its friendly aspect to Uranus in your career sector and to all three planets in your work sector might be fleeting but this is a taste of things to come. For this is the professional support that will be there for the Sun, Mercury and Venus as they move through your income sector over the coming months. The reason why July is such an important gap month is because Mars only left your financial sector on 28th June. With Neptune in his first full month in retrograde motion here and the dwarf planet Ceres turning retrograde on 7th July, there is a chance to first let money matters settle. Your financial sector is the side of the financial fence that is more focused on what you do with and how you manage the money you have and this is where the money gods have put all their attention so far this year. Mars has only just left as you move into July and with your financial passions and fighting spirit fuelled, Neptune is bringing a chance to pull back and let things play out. Because the focus won't shift to the income side of the fence until next month, this is a chance to first let money matters settle and the things that Mars has energised to play out.

Virgo

Moving into the second half of the year is normally more symbolic but this financial year really is a year of two halves and the second half began in the final 48 hours of June. Until then it was business as usual on both sides of the financial fence. With the last of the faster planets having left your financial sector in April and the first of the faster planets not returning to your income sector until September, there should be no planetary activity on either front. However, with the dwarf planet Eris in your financial sector and the asteroid Juno in your income sector they have been quietly maintaining a balance between money coming in and money going out. While Juno, with the help of Venus, the planet of money in your career sector will help to keep income matters on track it is on the financial front that there has been a massive change that will impact the rest of this financial year. It was late last month that Mars, the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos returned for what should be a six week visit to your financial sector. Having last moved through in early 2019, this should be and is a chance to take your financial power back, as Mars fires up your financial passions and fighting spirit. Eris is the warrior princess of the cosmos and Mars the warrior prince, coming together to fire up your warrior spirit. Your financial sector is the side of the financial fence that is more focused on what you do with and how you manage the money you have and with Juno and Venus maintaining the incoming flow, this can change the whole dynamics of this financial year. What makes this a game changer is that Mars won't leave until January, with his longest visit in 32 years giving you the whole second half of the year to take your financial power back. The Moon's return from 11th July to 14th July will be a chance to check in.

Libra

While this is a fairly quiet month as far as money and income matters are concerned there are two stories going on with the Moon also bringing a chance to check in. The two different stories are what is happening on the income and financial fronts, where the latter is becoming more settled and the former is more focused on preparing for what lies ahead. The last of the faster moving planets left your financial sector in May, the side of the financial fence where the focus is more on what you do with and how you manage the money you have. With Uranus here until 2026 but slowing down ahead of a retrograde turn next week, he has no interest in reinventing the wheel. The Moon's return to your financial sector from 14th July to 16th July will fuel your financial instincts and imagination while bringing a chance to check in. Apart from that, it is business as usual on the financial front, which means slow and steady when it comes to money matters. It is on the income front that the focus is more on preparation. Unlike your financial sector, there has been no planetary activity in your income sector since Mars left in the New Year and there will be none until the first of the faster planets return in September, kicking off the most lucrative months of 2020. Yet while there is no planetary activity in your income sector until September, you are already preparing for it and especially professionally. Mars just left your work sector in the closing days of June, Neptune is in his first full month in retrograde motion there and with the Sun in your career sector until 22nd July, Mercury all month and Venus returning early next month it is all about first gaining the right professional momentum. The Moon will begin the month in your income sector and after leaving on 2nd July will return again from 27th July to 29th July. In both visits, as well as sharpening your nose for money the Moon will form a friendly aspect to the planets in your two professional houses. Apart from creating some good days for income, work and career matters this is a taste of things to come.

Scorpio

While the Sun left your financial sector on the solstice, taking the solar spotlight off your financial situation and money matters the best is still to come. This is the point in any year when the Sun will turn the solar spotlight onto your financial situation and money matters but in a way that demands that you keep your eyes open and head out of the sand. The Sun is all about keeping it real, with his reality checks and fact checking key to ensuring you are on the right financial path, aware of what you need to be alert to and have taken care of any financial housekeeping. It wasn't until the Sun left that Venus, the planet of money was able to take the wheel again and play things her way. With the financial housekeeping and reality checks done, Venus can get back to fuelling your financial confidence and attracting opportunities. Venus had been in retrograde motion for a week when the Sun returned in May and was still in retrograde motion when he left a month later, only turning direct again on 25th June. Still in her early weeks in direct motion and not leaving until 8th August, Venus will spend the whole of July helping you to explore your financial potential and boost your financial confidence. Meanwhile, the lunar nodes are spending their second full month in your two money houses and here until January 2022 are quietly maintaining a balance between money coming in and money going out. It was the South Node's return to your income sector and the North Node's to your financial sector that will ensure neither will go off the boil. While the North Node is more focused on a sense of financial direction moving forward, the South Node is more focused on untapped income potential. This is what made Mars' return to your work sector on 28th June auspicious, for here now until January the whole second half of the year is full of income and job potential.

Sagittarius

The spotlight is always on your financial situation and money matters at this time of year, due to the fact that the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of July in your financial sector. This is the side of the financial fence where the focus is more on what you do with and how you manage the money you have and is a chance to create a better balance between money coming in and money going out. With Pluto in your income sector since 2008, Jupiter since December 2019 and Saturn retrograding back in on 2nd July there is a huge amount of focus on money coming in and has been all year. In retrograde motion, the focus is on untapped income potential as you retrace your steps. During the first part of the month money matters are also focused on the past as well though not exclusively. The Sun will always either stay in the moment or look to the future, while in retrograde motion in your financial sector until 12th July, Mercury's smart head for money comes with 20/20 hindsight and a chance to spend time back at the drawing board. Mercury turned retrograde before he could clash with the planets in your income sector and as the Sun won't clash until his final days in your financial sector, there should be little tension between the two. Especially now that the lunar nodes are no longer in your two money houses, having wrapped up an 18 month policing of a balance between money coming in and money going out in May. Yet it is what you have learnt from that time that allows you to see this as an opportunity to get on top of money matters as something that can go hand in hand with discovering untapped income potential. The Moon will make two visits to your income sector, the first from 4th July to 6th July and then returning on 31st July. However, it is the first visit and the eclipsing Full Moon this will create on 5th July that could be the most lucrative.

Capricorn

As far as your two money houses are concerned, it is a case of Saturn exiting stage left just a few weeks before the Sun enters stage right, managing to miss each other by just 20 days. It works out that despite the months of planetary activity on the income front so far this year, the months of planetary activity that are about to begin on the financial front and then more activity on the income front later in the year, there will be no overlap. That is good news because your two money houses sit on opposites sides of the sky and when there is planetary activity in both at the same time they clash, creating financial tension. Instead, by the time Saturn retrogrades back out of your income sector on 2nd July there has been near continuous planetary activity here since Venus' return last December. There has been at least one planet here throughout that time for all but three days in January and with Jupiter and Saturn both returning in December and Saturn here until 2023, this is a chance to take a break, let things settle and play out. In all that time there has been no planetary activity in your financial sector, with the Sun returning on 22nd July to find Saturn gone and the coast clear to shift the focus onto your financial situation and money matters. You might think that the money gods are being polite, each having their turn but the Sun returns at this time every year and if Saturn needed to stay on he would. The fact that they don't overlap or clash comes down to good timing. Your financial sector is less focused on money coming in and more on what you do with and how you manage the money you have and with so much focus on money coming in this year and even more so over the coming years, this is a valuable chance to take care of any financial housekeeping. The Sun will be on his own for now but Mercury will return early next month and Venus, the planet of money in September.

Aquarius

July is proving to be the perfect transition month, creating a quiet zone between a more proactive approach to income matters over recent months and the focus shifting onto your financial situation and money matters next month. It was on 28th June that Mars left your income sector, just five days after Neptune turned retrograde here. With Mars' job of fuelling your warrior spirit and declaring war on roadblocks and barriers, whether real or imagined over, Neptune is pulling back in order to exploit the benefits. The dwarf planet Ceres is also making her first visit to your income sector since 2017 and she too will turn retrograde on 7th July. With Mars gone and Neptune and Ceres both turning retrograde, this is a chance to regroup and quietly work on all that Mars has triggered. Mars is a planet that starts but doesn't finish things so this allowed Neptune and Ceres to retrace their steps, going back and completing or quietly working on what has begun. The fact that the Sun won't return to your financial sector until later next month to turn the solar spotlight onto your financial situation and money matters, means you have the whole of July to let income matters both play out and settle. The Moon will return from 9th July to 11th July, for the first time since Mars left and since Neptune and Ceres turned retrograde. This will always sharpen your nose for money but can also act as a trigger and with Mars having just left and the doors now open to the past, second chances and untapped income potential, there could be some unexpected income developments. Especially when it comes to something that you may have put time into or have started in the past, with your chickens coming home to roost. It helps that Mercury is in retrograde motion in your work sector until 12th July, with the Moon moving through while the doors are open to the past, second chances and untapped income and job potential.

Pisces

It should be business as usual on both sides of the financial fence this month and while that is the case on the financial side, where the focus is more on what you do with and how you manage the money you have, it is a different story on the income side of the fence. With the dwarf planet Eris, warrior princess of the cosmos in your income sector since 1926 and not leaving for another three decades you have always had a champion. However, slowing down ahead of a retrograde turn on 21st July and the faster moving planets having long been and gone, this should be a quiet month on the income front. However, everything changed in the closing days of June when Mars, warrior planet of the cosmos returned for what should be a six week visit. Even if this was an ordinary visit this would still come with stunning timing and would still kick off some of the most lucrative weeks of 2020. Mars returns with the warrior spirit needed to fight for what you deserve and joining forces with the warrior princess of the cosmos, this is when there is a chance to declare war on roadblocks and barriers, real or imagined. What makes the timing auspicious is that the first planetary activity on the job front for the year will begin with the Sun's return to your work sector on 22nd July. With Mars returning to find the South Node in your career sector, the force behind last month's eclipsing Full Moon for the first time in 17 years, by the time the Sun returns you will have your bases loaded across the income, work and career fronts. With Mars in your income sector for just over three weeks by then, this should buy you at least three more weeks with maximum professional support. Instead, Mars has no intention of leaving and won't until January 2021, making this his longest visit to your income sector in 32 years and the start of not the most lucrative weeks but the most lucrative months of 2020. The Moon return from 11th July to 14th July will give you your first feel for the warrior planet's influence.
